Application: Nutritional Drink 3 Pack Market: Beverage Previous Material: EPS Problem: Customer was experiencing excessive UPS shipping damage, incurred high freight costs and had limited storage space.
Solution: A custom 3 pack molded pulp tray was developed, which resulted in greatly reduced shipping damage. In addition, since the molded pulp trays are nest able, a substantial decrease in freight cost per unit was achieved, and minimal storage space was required to meet the customers production schedule.
Application: DVD Player Market: Computer Peripheral Previous Material: Foam Problem: Customer was looking for a unit cost reduction, and also was incurring high freight costs.
Solution: A custom universal molded pulp end cap was developed, which provided for significant cost savings and since the end caps are nest able, we were able to nearly triple the amount of product on a pallet which resulted in lower freight cost per unit.
Application: Internet Modem Market:Computer Peripheral Previous Material:Corrugate Problem:Customer was experiencing high assembly costs due to multiple folds required for corrugate, and the components in the box did not convey an upscale image.
Solution: A custom tray was developed, which significantly reduce labor cost in assembly. In addition, the tray allowed the components to be organized which improved the perception of quality.
Application: Industrial Motor Market:Electronics Previous Material:Combination EPS and Corrugate Problem:Customer was experiencing high assembly costs due to multiple components required to protect the product from damage, excessive freight costs and storage limitations were also a matter of concern.
Solution: A custom 2 piece tray was developed, which significantly reduced labor cost in assembly. In addition, freight costs were reduced and reduced storage requirements were achieved since the new molded pulp trays can be nested.

The Missouri Water Environment Association presented to EnviroPAK Corporation a Gold Industrial Wastewater Pretreatment Compliance Award for the second straight year at the MWEA's 80th Annual Meeting held March 29-April 1, 2009. Gold Award Winners must be in complete compliance with all wastewater discharge and reporting requirements, must have an industrial wastewater treatment facility or pollution prevention program, and must have a history of good relations with the nominating city or sewer district.
