Coca-Cola Testing Paper Bottle Prototype

Coca-Cola in Europe will test a paper bottle prototype with consumers this summer in Hungary for AdeZ, a plant-based drink.

The technology developed by Paboco is designed to create 100% recyclable bottles made of sustainably sourced wood with a bio-based material barrier suitable for liquid goods such as carbonated and still drinks, beauty products and more

Coca-Cola reports that it’s “excited about the potential for the technology and the opportunity to learn from this trial.”
